WELCOME
The Lock Museum of America houses the largest collection of locks, keys, handcuffs, and ornate door hardware in the world. Located on the site of the original headquarters of the Eagle Lock Company at 230 Main Street, Terryville, Connecticut, it is the only museum of its kind in the United States.
Many of the items on display were made in Connecticut, products of Yankee ingenuity, manufacturing and artistic creativity.
The Museum provides a fascinating look at the genius of lockmakers who over the centuries, have constantly tried to stay one step ahead of the bad guys!
